Join the students from New York's legendary School of Performing Arts as they climb the ladder to their ultimate goal - FAME! Set in New York's legendary High School of the Performing Arts.

Fame - The Musical tells of the hopes and dreams of aspiring stars in their quest for success. Inspired by the Academy Award winning film, FAME is a roller coaster ride through the dreams and disappointments of the star-struck pupils attending New York's High School for the Performing Arts. It's the Fame school with the famous motto: Fame costs and right here is where you start paying.

From auditions to celebrations, follow the long winding path of stage students and their journey into the limelight. Based on the academy award winning film, best-selling novel and a long running television series, Fame follows the inspiring tale of Performing Arts students from their over-elaborate entrance auditions all the way to their well-polished graduation. Accompany them on their emotional ride through pleasure, pain, discovery and loss in this starry musical. Romances and friendships develop as the story makes a social statement especially relevant to today's aspiring stars. Non-stop, high energy make FAME a breathtaking show.

Ensemble Audition Details

Wivelsfield Village Hall, Eastern Road, Wivelsfield Green, East Sussex RH17 7QG

Audition Materials

You will be taught a short dance routine and audition in small groups. We will then sing through Bring On Tomorrow and audition is small groups again. Information available on the Ensemble singers page.

AUDITION FORMAT

Dance

Group Dance - you will be taught a short routine on the audition day so please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and foot wear.

Notes

Please ensure you wear or bring suitable clothing and foot wear to dance, print the audition documents you need (such as dialogue) as these will not be available from us on the audition day.
